The monthly OA meeting will now be held as a breakout session at
the District Roundtable meeting on the 2nd Thursday of each
month. The interim chapter Chief is Damon Haynie. He

dmnhaynie@hotmail.com Chapter leadership elections will be
held at the fall fellowship.
The Order of the Arrow is
Scouting’s National Honor Society. It recognizes those campers
who best exemplify the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives
and, by such recognition, cause other campers to conduct
themselves in such a manner as to warrant similar recognition,
to promote camping, and to crystallize the Scout habit of
helpfulness into a life purpose of leadership in cheerful service
to others.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE EXTENDED
The registration deadline for the Camp Allatoona Day of
Cheerful Service has been extended to Friday August 13th.
Registrations are very, very low. Since there is no fee for this
event and lunch will be ordered out we can wait until everyone
checks in on Saturday morning to get a head count to order
lunch. Please take a look at your schedule and see if you can
free up some time to give Camp Allatoona some cheerful service.
