Atlanta Area Council Units Plant 100 Trees to
Celebrate the 100th Birthday of Scouting |
|
It was a cold winter afternoon in Smyrna, Georgia, when Cub
Scouts from Pack 11 and Boy Scouts from Troop 11 and Troop 88
planted one of 100 Pin Oak trees throughout the Atlanta Area
Council commemorating the 100th birthday of Scouting. The
trees were donated by the Home Depot Foundation. This tree
was planted in the city of Smyrna, Georgia, near the entrance to
Taylor-Brawner Park. |
